1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sketella ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sketella is a conversational AI assistant for managing calendar events and reminders on iPhone. The App accepts natural-language input via typing, voice, photos, files, or content shared from other apps, and helps you create, query, edit, and delete events in Apple's native Calendar and Reminders.

AI features require real-time processing of user-submitted content by our Cloudflare Worker and third-party AI or speech providers after you grant permission in the App. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about what is transmitted, who receives it, and how it is protected.

3. AI-Generated Suggestions Are Not Authoritative

The App's parsing and suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence and may be incorrect. Always review the proposed event details — title, date, time, location — before confirming. Sketella shows a confirmation card for every action that writes to your calendar; you must explicitly confirm before any change is made. Past confirmations are your responsibility to verify.

The App is provided as a productivity convenience tool. It is not designed for mission-critical scheduling such as medical appointments, legal deadlines, or any context where a missed or incorrect event could cause material harm. For such cases, verify all events via your calendar app and professional sources.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

Sketella offers optional in-app subscriptions for unlimited AI usage and Pro-only features such as photo OCR and file import.

• Free users get a monthly quota of AI requests; once exhausted, AI features are paused until the quota resets the following month or the user subscribes.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period (refund requests are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy).
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

5. Shared Content Import

You may share text, links, images, PDFs, or email content from other apps to Sketella through the iOS Share sheet. By sharing content to the App, you confirm:

• You have the right to process the shared content with Sketella
• You will not share unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing content, or content you are not authorized to use
• You will review AI-generated proposals before writing anything to your calendar or reminders

We reserve the right to limit or disable abuse patterns that overload the service or process content unlawfully.

6. Permitted Use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute or resell the App or its content
• Attempt to extract API keys, exploit the AI proxy, or interfere with the App's operation
• Submit prompts intended to extract harmful content or bypass the AI provider's policies

7. Intellectual Property

All design, code, and original content in Sketella are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Calendar events you create using Sketella are your own data, written to your Apple Calendar account.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. This includes, without limitation, any consequences of missed appointments, incorrectly scheduled events, AI parsing errors, or reliance on suggestions made by the App.

9. Service Availability

Sketella's AI features depend on our server, Cloudflare, and third-party AI or speech services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Brief outages may occur during model upgrades, regional service disruptions, or quota limits at the provider level. Local features (chat history, app preferences, calendar/reminder writes you've already confirmed) continue to work offline.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App's AI proxy at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful. Local data on your device is unaffected by such termination — you retain access to all events Sketella has already written to your Apple Calendar.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with those laws.
